Hope Hill supports a scattered site Independent Living Program throughout central and eastern Kentucky. Independent Living is a voluntary program for youth 18-21 that are aging out of the state’s system but want to continue their education. Our program empowers these young adults to develop the skills necessary to live independently.
Youth must be between the ages of 18-21 years

Life Skills assessment of strengths and needs
Individualized life skills education and training
When a young adult is placed in our program each individual receives a fully furnished apartment that is safely located and accessible to the college/university of their choice. Each apartment is provided for the youth rent-free along with their utilities and internet service. Once the youth graduate the program, Hope Hill allows the youth to keep all furniture and household goods provided at placement.
Hope Hill case managers work tirelessly to make sure that the youth receive the support necessary for them to live successfully on their own. Our staff meets with the each youth weekly and is available 24 hours a day for crisis support. Hope Hill believes that the extra support these exceptional young adults receive is what separates our program from others and leads to successful outcomes.
