Independent Living Program

Hope Hill supports a scattered site Independent Living Program throughout central and eastern Kentucky.  

Eligibility for Hope Hill’s Independent Living Program

  • Youth must be between the ages of 18-21 years

  • Be a graduate from High School or have attained a GED

  • Currently associated with a residential treatment or foster care program

Hope Hill provides the following services

  • Treatment Planning

  • Life Skills assessment of strengths and needs

  • Individualized life skills education and training

  • Employment Assistance

  • Therapy

  • Educational assistance

  • Financial Support

When a young adult is placed in our program, each individual receives a fully furnished apartment safely located and accessible to the college/university of their choice.  Each apartment is provided for the youth rent-free along with their utilities and internet service.  Once the youth graduates the program, Hope Hill allows them to keep all furniture and household goods provided at placement.

Hope Hill case managers work tirelessly to make sure the youth receive the support necessary for them to live successfully on their own.  Our staff meets with each youth weekly and is available 24 hours daily for crisis support. Hope Hill believes that the extra support these exceptional young adults receive separates our program from others and leads to successful outcomes.
