Ashley McNabb Named Executive Director

Hope Hill
August 11, 2021

August 10, 2021, Hope, Ky.-- Hope Hill Youth Services announced today that Ashley McNabb has been named executive director for the organization. McNabb served as interim executive director since June 2021 and has been part of Hope Hill’s mission for over two years. She defines her role as holistically supporting the needs of Hope Hill’s staff to ensure the organization can continue to support children and families.

In 2020, Hope Hill’s 40 staff members served 200 children and 90 families through holistic foster care support across 25 counties in Central and Eastern Kentucky. McNabb will take over management of this work, as well as lead the organization’s efforts to provide independent living opportunities for young adults and offer in-home and outpatient services for at-risk youth.

“I am very excited to take on this new role,” shared McNabb. “Our vision is to continue serving disadvantaged youth and helping the whole system to turn around child abuse cases. We are the leading state in child abuse and neglect cases. We are looking at initiatives to help with that and work on the prevention side, as well.”

The board of directors is confident in McNabb’s appointment to the executive director role. “Ashley has a passion for children and is ready to lead Hope Hill Youth Services into the future,” said Kaye Leighton, chairperson of the Hope Hill board of directors. “Our continued goal is to impact the lives of children and families through Hope Hill services, and Ashley’s dedication and commitment will ensure the continued ability to achieve this goal.”

McNabb shares the ways community members can engage with Hope Hill Youth Services, saying, “The biggest support we could have is to gain families interested in foster care. We are also always looking for luggage for kids and even financial donations that help us with new programs. Follow us on social media and help share that we are here and ready to continue growing.”
