  • Ken Cude, Program Administrator of Residential Services
    Ken Cude, Program Administrator of Residential ServicesKen is a graduate of Andersonville Baptist Seminary where he earned his Masters degree in Christian Counseling. He has 25 years of professional experience including Youth Pastor, Director of Faith Mountain Mission of Kentucky, Residential Child Care Worker, Therapist and Treatment Director. Ken has been at Hope Hill since 2005.



  • Kim Pulliam, Program Administrator of Therapeutic Foster Care Program
    Kim Pulliam, Program Administrator of Therapeutic Foster Care ProgramKim has her Masters degree in Social Work and is a Certified Social Worker. She has 12 years of professional experience including work as a Clinical Reviewer for Children's Review Program and a Therapist at the Ridge Behavioral Health System. Kim's Clinical specialty is in treating sexual abuse issues including victimization, sexual reactivity and borderline features. Kim became Hope Hill's Director of Therapeutic Foster Care in August of 2005.



  • John Shue, President & CEO
    John Shue, President & CEOJohn Shue is a graduate of Adams State College in Alamosa, Colorado, having received both a bachelor's degree and a Masters Degree in Guidance and Counseling/Clinical Psychology. John also attended Warner Pacific College and Portland State University in Portland, Oregon; after completion of his education, he joined the Portland Police Department, where his desire to work with hurting youth was developed. John has 39 years of experience in Colorado, in all aspects of operating and managing licensed, professional treatment centers for both boys and girls. He and his wife retired in 2007, where upon John joined Family Connection Inc Board of Directors. He and Lynda agreed to assist in managing Family Connection, Inc as a team. He, as President/CEO, and she, as Administrator/Internal Auditor. John is thankful for the opportunity to serve children and youth in this capacity.

  • Lynda Shue, Administrator/ Internal Auditor
    Lynda Shue, Administrator/ Internal AuditorLynda Shue is a graduate of Colorado State University-Pueblo in Pueblo, Colorado. She has been an Administrator/Internal Auditor for Family Connection Inc for two and one half years. Lynda has 39 years of experience in residential treatment facilities for adolescents as business manager, accountant, human resources. She and her husband John have worked as a team throughout their career in residential care in many aspects besides the business side. They were foster parents, while raising their own four children, and managed work camps at a residential treatment facility in Colorado. Her skills have served her well in assisting John in this vital life-calling and ministry to children and youth.

  • Buzz Dixon, VIce Presidents of Development
    Buzz Dixon, VIce Presidents of DevelopmentBuzz has been with Family Connection Inc for three years. He attended the University of Kentucky at Ashland, Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana and the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA. Buzz has 15 years of experience in the field of Development and specializes in Planned Giving.

  • Katy Hedge, Director of Development
    Katy Hedge, Director of DevelopmentKaty Hedge of Citrus Heights, CA is a 2005 graduate of Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Family Science with an emphasis in Christian Ministries. Katy has been with the organization since 2006. She has continued her education by earning a Certificate in Fund Raising Management from the Fund Raising School at The Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University. Katy also serves in the community as an Executive Board member for Leadership Montgomery County. Katy first became involved with the agency during a work camp in 1998 where God planted a seed in her heart for this ministry.

  • Kristen Prather, Business Manager/ Accountant
    Kristen Prather of Morehead, KY is a graduate of Morehead State University where she earned a degree in Business Administration. Kristen joined Family Connection in 2009 and brings with her three years of experience in accounting and four years of experience in customer service/ marketing. Kristen is an asset to Family Connection in the way she uses both her professional business skills and her passion for our mission to meet the need of the organization.

  • Brenda Garrett, Human Resources Coordinator
    Brenda Garrett, Human Resources CoordinatorBrenda Garrett of Mt. Sterling, KY has been with Hope Hill and Family Connection, Inc. sine 2008. She is a graduate of Morehead State University where she earned an Associates Degree in University Studies. She brings with her 17 years of experience from Mary Chiles Hospital as a medical coder and medical records clerk. She has also helped build a business with her husband by managing the accounts payable and receivable for Garrett Communications. Brenda enjoys working in a Christian Environment where she can be a part of the changes and growth the employees experience. Brenda feels that being part of a growing ministry is very rewarding.
